Brian & Annina enjoy teaching all sorts of dance. They have a dance school in Ringwood, catering for Ballroom, Latin, Salsa & Line dancing. Weekly they teach at the local David Lloyd Fitness Centre & have recently taught Sequence & Zouk. They are now running a monthly tea dance at a residential home in the New Forest. Further to this Brian & Annina taught handicap teenagers & what a reward that was. To see how they can move when they have disabilities is simply wonderful.
Brian has been dancing from the age of 14. He started at the Goodyear dance school in Bath. Brian turned professional in 1995 with the ISTD followed by IDTA & UKA. Annina starting Old Time dancing at the age of 4 years. She has reach Gold Bar standard with the IDTA in both Ballroom, Latin & Old Time dancing. Annina dances both man & lady.
In 1999 Annina went along to Brian's Line Dance class. After a few months she was asked to be in Brians Line dance team, who had reached the UKA finals 3 years running. It was then 2 years later that they became a couple. After several cruises Brian & Annina decided they would like to get married on board. In March 2008 Brian & Annina were married on the P & O Oceana. It was Annina wish for Brian to dance her down the aisle.
Both Brian & Annina loved their dancing & cruising very much. They have cruised many times & were often asked if they were the teachers. After thinking about it, thought what a good idea & approach Debbie at Dance Afloat. Dancing is our life, we both enjoy the pleasure of dancing with people, you get such amazing rewards. It does not matter you age or if you have a disability. If you set your mind to it, anyone can dance.
